Welcome to Universitype, a website and online service owned by Universitype. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all visitors, users, buyers, and others who access the Service (“User(s),” or “you,” or “your”). By using the website, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including the Font License Terms, which constitute a binding agreement with us. You also acknowledge the collection and use of your information as set forth in our privacy policy. If you open an account on behalf of an organization or other entity, then “you” includes you and that entity, and you represent and warrant that you are an authorized representative of the entity with the authority to bind the entity to these Terms, and that you agree to these Terms on the entity’s behalf.

Use of Our Service

Our Service allows purchasers to buy licenses in accordance with the applicable license agreement to use fonts from universitype.com. References to “buying” or “purchasing” fonts mean buying or purchasing licenses for those fonts. We offer various licenses, and it is important that you carefully review the rights and restrictions of the font license before you purchase. Any use or access to the Service by anyone under 13 is strictly prohibited and in violation of these Terms.

Universitype grants you permission to create an account to purchase font licenses. Notify Universitype of any unauthorized use or security breach. Universitype will not be liable for any damage, cost, loss, or expense caused by or in connection with unauthorized use of your account.

Universitype offers trial versions of fonts for evaluation purposes, which are freely available for download. These versions, identified by names like “Altone-Trial” or “Ageo-Personal-Use,” may have an incomplete character set. The trial fonts are intended solely for personal use and evaluation. Any commercial use or usage providing economic benefits, as well as non-commercial usage reaching large-scale audiences, is strictly prohibited.

Payment and Downloadable Font Files

Accepted payment methods include PayPal and Direct Transfer to our Indonesian Bank Account. You can select your preferred currency from the drop-down menu during checkout. Upon completing the purchase, downloadable font files will be available on the My Account page and also sent by email.

For Direct Bank Transfers, admin confirmation is required after payment. Our team will manually activate the font files download link upon receipt of payment confirmation or once the funds are cleared. Orders without incoming funds or payment confirmation that exceed 60 days will be canceled.

You can access the font files download link on your My Account page after activation, and a confirmation email will also be sent to you. If you encounter any issues with payment methods, download links, or font files, please contact us for assistance.

Intellectual Property and License Restrictions

All fonts provided by universitype.com remain the intellectual property of Universitype. By purchasing a font license, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the font software in accordance with the license agreement. You may not modify, alter, disassemble, or rename the font software, including the code inside the font files.

You are not allowed to redistribute or resell the font software in any form, either alone or as part of a package. You may not make the font software available for others to download, copy, or use in any way, whether for free or for payment, without obtaining the express written permission of Universitype.

Refund Policy

Refunds are granted at the discretion of Universitype and will be considered only for reasonable causes, such as errors with the font files or technical issues related to font installation. Universitype is not obligated to issue refunds for mistakes made in font or font license selection. However, in the event of such mistakes, Universitype may, at its discretion, provide a resolution for the transaction. This resolution may include changing the mistaken license to the correct one or modifying the order to reflect the appropriate font license. Any resolution provided by Universitype shall be final and binding upon both parties. Refund requests must be made within 15 days of purchase.

Transaction Resolution

All parties share the responsibility for ensuring that purchases facilitated by our service are satisfactory. Our Service hosts the resolution process for transactions when buyers claim that their font files were not received, or the font files they received were different from what was described in the product listing. We may take a more active role in ensuring transaction problems are resolved; however, we are not obligated to do so. You agree to permit us to make a final decision on any disputes. We reserve the right to fix any processing errors we discover.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have regarding the Service.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
