1. License Grant

Universitype grants you, the Licensee, a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased font software under the terms of this Agreement.

2. Permitted Uses

The Licensee may:

• Use the font for personal, commercial, and professional projects.
• Install and use the font on up to 5 devices within the same organization, unless additional licenses are purchased.
• Use the font in digital and print media, including websites, social media, branding, and advertising.

3. Prohibited Uses

The Licensee may not:

• Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the font software without written permission from Universitype.
• Distribute, resell, sublicense, or share the font software in any form, including as part of software, online services, or mobile apps.
• Embed the font in applications, software, or any platforms without purchasing an extended license.

4. Embedding Fonts

• Web Embedding: You may embed Universitype fonts in websites via @font-face, provided it is limited to the licensed domain.
• App Embedding: Embedding fonts in mobile apps, software, or games requires a separate app embedding license.
• PDF Embedding: Embedding fonts in PDFs for non-commercial use is permitted. For commercial purposes, an extended license is required.

5. Modifications

Modifying the font software for personal use is allowed. However, you may not distribute modified fonts or create derivative typefaces without explicit permission from Universitype.

6. Ownership

The font software is the intellectual property of Universitype. You, the Licensee, are granted the rights to use the font but do not own it. Universitype retains all ownership and copyright of the fonts.

7. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. Universitype reserves the right to terminate your license at any time if the terms are violated. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the fonts and delete all copies.

8. Warranty & Liability

Universitype warrants that the font software will perform substantially as described. In case of defects, the liability is limited to font replacement or refund of the purchase price, at the discretion of Universitype.

Universitype is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, arising from the use or inability to use the font software.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Country/State], without regard to its conflict of law principles.
